 Thanks for visiting Everlastingfire.com... the website dedicated to the
greatest US death metal band! So how did it all begin you ask? Well, a
couple of demos landed in my hands while attending college in NY, and I
was instantly hooked. About 5 years later, sometime around 1995 I was
dabbling in some website work and the band's history became the subject of
a test site. Somehow, this was circulated as a source for Immolation info
on the web. In 1997, I arranged for a dedicated server and URL. Finally,
in 2003, the awesome Kostas Vaxevanos of Repulsive Echo suggested
"everlastingfire.com" as the site's permanent domain name. The most recent
design for 2007 was completed by the amazing Nedim and Adnan from
Hiddenthrone. Over the years, friends and loyal fans around the world have
made it what it is today and it continues to grow. We will forever remain
Unsaved!

When you look at the
site, in our case, you have think about the "old days" and death metal
graffiti sprayed in the backyard of our local theatre; seeing that obscure-ATION name drawn somewhere in the dark, tape trading mania and endless
debates of who's blasting faster... ten years later: psyched to be able to
communicate to the, now, hystoric US DM band and give something back just
to say thank you for being a huge part of those irreplaceable years and
beyond.

 It all started around late '92. Being very young and not having the
resources to seek out new music on my own, the pinacle of DM for me was
Deicide and Morbid Angel. That is untill I got my hands on Dawn of
Possession. I wasn't very impressed at first listen. Untill I realized I
had been listening to DoP for weeks straight. Needless to say, I was
hopelessly hooked. Since then, every single song on every single release
sends shivers up and down my spine, giving me an almost psychedelic
feeling.
So why the fanpage at myspace? Seeing all the dead pages for Immolation
made me think, "Why do people even bother?" Not only was it a great
disservice to the band but to fans as well. So I went ahead and set up my
own fanpage, keeping it updated as much as possible. I didn't think much
untill, exactly, a year later Bob Vigna requested that I make it the
official myspace page for Immolation. The rest is, of course, history.
